Before committing to a full UK rollout, Nestlé Switzerland needed to understand whether a new vegan proposition would resonate in a highly competitive market. Following an in-depth briefing at Nestlé’s Switzerland head office, CR applied its Excelerator campaign approach to develop a focused test-and-learn programme combining packaging creation, influencer engagement, online market research and social-first content. This enabled the team to validate demand, gather real-world insight and inform future commercial decisions. The campaign delivered more than one million impressions in just two weeks, providing clear evidence of market appetite and go-to-market potential.

Deeper Dive

The campaign was designed as a commercial validation exercise rather than a traditional product launch. Following an in-depth briefing at Nestlé’s Switzerland head office, CR applied its Excelerator campaign approach to help test the strength of a new vegan proposition before committing to a wider UK rollout.

Every touchpoint was developed to support learning, not just awareness. From naming and visual identity through to packaging creation, messaging, influencer engagement, online market research and social-first content, the campaign was built to test consumer response, strengthen brand positioning and generate meaningful insight.

The brand identity balanced Nestlé’s credibility with the contemporary visual and verbal cues expected by plant-based consumers, while the packaging and messaging were designed to communicate the proposition quickly, encourage trial and support clear market feedback.

A tightly targeted social campaign generated more than one million impressions in just two weeks, enabling rapid testing of messaging, creative assets and audience engagement. Rather than measuring awareness alone, the campaign provided valuable insight into consumer behaviour, brand perception and scalability, creating a data-informed foundation for future go-to-market decisions and reducing the risk associated with a wider product launch.
